1967 Ford Falcon Statiom Wagon Custom Cruiser

Description and Features:
Please read the Condition and Terms sections carefully also.

This wagon is a very neat Daily Driver/Cruise night car. It is late 60's Ford Red, with an all red interior. This car was built in the late 80's/early 90's buy a fellow who owned an upholstery shop and restored Mustangs. The Falcon has been driven sparingly since it's since it was restored/modified. I really can't tell you what is original and what's not. The carpet is deep red and very plush. The bed of the wagon is carpeted as well. The door panels(including the tailgate are upholstered in a nice a high grade vinyl with cool stitching. The headliner is dark red and looks near new. The dashpad and the front pillars are neatly upholstered. The seats are upholstered in a quality velour with stitching on the sides. Lights: has a newer dome light with twin spots(my Dad's '73 mercury had the same dome light). Has lights on the lower front door panels and a light in back over the tailgate. Interior lights are operated by an added toggle switch. Has remote mirrors and fender top mounted turn signal indicators.
The Ford Magic Tailgate(flips down or swings out) is way cool.

It's not a race car but it does have some get up and go.
The engine seems strong and sounds good though it is single exhaust.
I have owned the car serveral months and have driven it around town and on short road trips. A cruise night car your kids will love too.

The exterior still shines in Ford Red with white stripes. Good chrome all around with luggage rack and rear wind deflector thingy. Mustang like rally wheels.

Vehicle Condition:
Fly in and drive it home. Of course this is a 37 year old vehicle but we believe it to be sound.
This Falcon Station Wagon was rebuilt around 1990. The car runs and drives fine and it is fun to drive.
The exterior is flashy. It gets lots of admiring looks around town.
The carpet, upholstery, and headliner are very nice.
All the windows roll up and down. The AM radio works. The heater works. The tires are good.
The glass is good; there are some rollup scratches on the drivers door glass and the tailgate glass.
We have Changed the plugs, oil, oil filter, thermostat, radiator cap and rebuilt the radiator and carborator.
We charged the A/C with Freeze 12 and it worked great for a short time but there is a freon leak.
The power break booster may need work but the car stop easily as it is.
The cigerette lighter does not work. The backup lights do not work. The tailgate does not lock. The visors are in good shape but are missing the little rubber knobs that they snap into place with... they stay in position pretty well though. The bottom part of the horn rim is missing. The passenger side front kick panel does not seat quit right and has a crack in it.

Exterior: The paint job is still very flashy in general. To be even better, the hood and tailgate could use some attention; otherwise, there are a few very minor chips and blemishes in the paint but it's really sharp. The hood: it has some cracking filler in the front and the paint is discolored. The tailgate: it has rust along the lower portion and the paint is dull. The driver's front floorboard had some repair done when the car was redone. From underneath this looks to have been a small hole. The car was undercoated a long time ago... this is the gray stuff(much of which has flaked off) visible in the pictures. There is a sub-dime sized rust spot on the lower back corner of each passenger side door(these are barely noticeable).
I have tried to disclose what I know and remember.

This Falcon has a clear title in my name. As I mentioned this car was rebuilt starting in the late 80's. I'm not sure what the restorer started out with. I purchased the car from the estate of the man who bought the car from the restorer in 1992. The title the previous owner had said "reconditioned" in the comments. The title I received from the state says "Rebuilt Salvage - Loss Unknown".
